Operators - Wentworth NSW - SES



Dear Members,



WICEN may be  formally requested by SES to provide communications support
in the Mildura / Wentworth area. Due to no communications SES boat crews
are at greater risk and WICEN may be in a position to assist.



We envisage the deployment being short term (2~3 days on the ground), until
either the need is over or SES have put in place supplementary
communications.



If you are available for a deployment (next 24~48 hours) to the area could
you please let me know immediately. At this stage as the situation is
dynamic we are currently gathering additional more detailed information to
complete a deployment package. Most likely you will need to be
self-sufficient food, water and transport. Hopefully accommodation can be
provided.



We have also spoken to WICEN NSW and WICEN ACT to support this mission
being a rapid deployment.
