Being first Thursday of the month this is EZARC 7:30 meeting night so I will be an apology for tonight or possibly a late starter. No sure I can manage 2 simultaneous Zoom meetings. One in the left ear and the other in the right maybe? The Friday nights were easier to work around but like all regular commitments, things always come up.

We also have a couple of repeaters fitted with crossband link radios.  One is a VHF repeater with UHF link radio, the other is a UHF repeater with VHF link radio. These are useful for various purposes, an obvious one being off-air linking between sites.  Another use is where it is necessary to have separate nets on the same band but without mutual interference.  Solution: set up the repeater a little distance away from AWI and use the link frequency to connect to AWI. 

I have updated the spreadsheet I developed some years ago, attached.  This looks at how various comms modes stack up against what I believe are some important criteria for a good emergency comms system, and complements the analysis in your spreadsheet.
