WICEN Vic: Call for Operators - Duncan's Run, 21 March 2020

Duncan's Run is on again, this year on Saturday 21 March.

Duncan's Run is an ultra-marathon, run over 100km of challenging country 
in the Strzelecki Ranges south of Traralgon.  There are also other, 
shorter events run concurrently.  For those who assisted last year, the 
course this year is the same.   More information on the event is at

WICEN provides safety and logistics support to the event, in particular 
competitor tracking through checkpoints.   We will be running a voice 
net on 2 metres using a portable repeater, plus a data net (TRAK) also 
on 2m.  (Please note that Paul has recently released a new version of 
TRAK).

We can supply a limited number of radios, TNCs and some related 
equipment for the data net if required.

If you are able to assist, please let me or Chris VK3CJK know. Due to 
the extended duration of the event we will be running a roster on some 
checkpoints, so please let us know if you are able to assist any time 
during the day, or only part.  Some bush camping is available.
