Band conditions: noisy, propagation mostly OK although rapid QSB on VK3YG/P
and reported by VK3KTS on Melbourne stations. VK3YG/P and VK3VP/P badly
affected by static crashes and unreadable or inaudible by most stations on
the net.  

 

VK3MIT:  has set up gateway at new home location, should be considered
experimental at this stage 

VK3IFM:  thanks to all who assisted at the Stockmans Rally at the weekend,
the weekend went well. Some minor mods to be made to gear in light of
experience.  FT817 has failed, cause unknown, SMD construction is daunting.
Preparing comms manual for Mighty Murray Paddle (MMP)

VK3KTS:  busy working on some Coastguard radio problems & installs, Mt Nowa
Nowa and Mt Imlay. Will be at AGM. 

VK3GER:  very noisy at home, /P location not much better. Expect MMP manual
to be sent out soon. 

VK3SP:  good weekend at Stockmans
