<DIV>There were nine stations logged into last Tuesdays net on 3.600Mhz at

<DIV>John 3ZRX commenced the net until I arrived as I thought I was the NCS next
week. {My mistake but thanks John} Most stations had good signals to the
Western district however Ken 3FKD had an audio signal that sounded like clipping
initially that made copy difficult but seemed to improve on his next
over. Tim 3BCN had a very bass signal and lack of highs
but this may be the microphone capsule in use. Several stations
commented. John 3ZRX had taken his OKA van to a
gathering of others up on Dargo plains and had an enjoyable meet with other
owners. Graeme reported on the recent fun run on Australia Day from
Safety beach to Rosebud where some 2000 competitors were involved.
WICEN provided 14 stations as check/safety control using hand helds and one
control station upon the hill. The day went well and WICEN aquitted
themselves well.</DIV>
