I've just finished an REMT teleconference where there was a roundup from
all agencies in Gippsland.
- All agencies seem to have escaped damage
- Yallourn Mine, which has a history of cracking with the potential for
river water ingress, was temporarily evacuated as a precaution.
- Rail services in Gippsland were suspended as a precautionary measure
until bridge inspections occur. Expected complete later today.
- Minor damage to a residential verandah in Warragul
- As John VK3ZRX reported above, all amateur repeaters in West and
Central Gippsland are operational. No reports of anything further afield
being non-operational.
