Hi all,

Interesting update about Marine Radio following the storms...
Interesting to note about the Arthurs Seat station - and the VK3RSP
repeater survived working!

It brings to mind that this was a rare & severe event - but the way
things are going, they will happen more often & with greater force.

I wonder how many of our hilltop repeaters suffered?

Will the Marine systems (and I dare say, many other services) be
repaired in a timely fashion?

Could WICEN have a role for temporary systems (pre-arranged of course)?

Food for thought. Better to be prepared than to be put on the spot!

Thanks
