It's way too early to look at M17 for WICEN purposes, it's still in
early stages of development and availability.  But it's a mode I will be
watching, even if only because I am playing with M17 myself.

If things go the right way, M17 could have some application years down
the track, with its support of voice and data, as well as optional
strong encryption, but we're a long way from anything suitable for field
deployment.  Time will tell.

I will be giving a talk and demonstration on Friday evening at BAREC on
M17, which will give more information.
