Hello Mark,  thanks for the update Re Fred Storey.  Came as  bit of a shock as havent heard from him for some time now and wasn’t aware of his illness.  Plse keep up dated ifr possible.  I new freds brother Garry long before I met Fred however have not had much contact with family since leaving Melbourne.    So sad to hear of his passing.

Good Morning WICEN Members,

I got a phone call this morning from John Kerr VK3BAF to let me know that Fred Storey VK3JM died on Monday morning after a long illness. I have no further details at this stage.

Fred was one of our longest standing members, Treasurer for many years, and was a regular at most of our events, particularly the Murray Marathon.

I will pass on any details of Fred's funeral that we receive, but of course COVID may well interfere with our ability to pay our last respects.
