Ian, thanks for the invitation for 2015 however as just home to day from major surgery I will still be unable to travel at that time. I would look forward to a similar invite in 2016 when I will be more able to move and enjoy the activities.

                At this stage the Yea Field Weekend on 13/14/15 March is still on.

                I am away the week end before so I will make the final call and advise on the Tuesday or Wednesday based on the weather forecast for the period.

                Bring your new toys and any NVIS Antenna you may want to try.  Or anything you may want to try for that matter.  There is a BIG paddock available so there is no shortage of space to set up antennas.

                Location is the same as the 2014 event.  I will re-publish access details in the week before when I confirm.

                I will be there on the Thursday PM to set up, BBQ & drinks on the Sat night.

                Spread the word.  I have a couple of acceptances att.  If you could all confirm/reconfirm your intent so I can give our host an idea of the qty to expect.  We may or may not see them during the period.

                On a sad note:  Our original host, Pete, died of a massive heart attack late last year while on holidays.  His wife, Rosemary, has graciously consented to our continued use of the area.  I propose to offer her a small token of our appreciation.  Pete was happy with a slab of VB…:-)  I will let my Wife have a 'chat' with her to find out what would be acceptable/appropriate.
