WICEN Vic: Pajero Challenge 2015

Dear WICEN members,

 

My apologies for the late announcement of details for the Pajero Challenge,
but the event will be taking place again this year and once again WICEN have
been asked to assist.

 

For 2015 the event will take place in the region of Walhalla in Gippsland.
The start finish is planned to be at Merringtons Camp and the event will
take place at the following dates and times:

 

Start:     9:30am on Saturday, March 28th, 2015.

Finish:   10:00am on Sunday, March 29th, 2015.

 

 

It will be best for some operators to arrive on the Friday afternoon at the
AWI for the setup and the early checkpoint locations will need to be in
place early Saturday morning, so you may wish to camp at the location.

 

We will be requiring a similar number of operators for the event, which is
around 18 to 20 people. At this point we don't have the details of the
suitable frequencies used as we have yet to receive the section plans. Once
we can determine this, I will let everyone know.

 

Our role will be the supply of information to and from the checkpoints to
AWI with updates of competitor vehicle locations, track or competitor
issues, assistance to a medical team along  with any other relevant
information that may be required. 

 

If you are available for part or all of the event, please let me know what
times you can assist. Please also let me know if you have a 2WD or4WD
vehicle.
