WICEN Members: Hut 2 Hut - Wicen not required

Good morning all,

After numerous requests for an updated status, I have just received written notification that we will not be required for this event.

No doubt it's been very trying all round with the uncertainty revolving around the impact of the fires. Only last Wednesday it was confirmed that the full 100km course would not be available, and they would be forced to use a 55km course set up for a shorter event running alongside the 100km event. Communications for this event had already been finalised.

Hopefully everything will be much smoother next year, and with a bit of luck we get involved then.
