3.Minutes of previous meeting

Motion:That the minutes of the meeting of April 2004 be received as a true record.

4.Business Arising from Minutes

1.Yumeralla Tower - 3FGC - 3FGC in contact with DSE. Waiting on decision for alternative - meanwhile leave.

2.Police Station installations - 3FGC - need official letter to Gary Wislon, Vic Pol. No problem envisaged.

3.Region 3 RCO - 3BAF - suggest write again. 3XMU to contact.

4.VPC Site agreement - 3FGC - cables still in place. Ops. position to relocate into former conference room. Site agreement important.

5.Minimum equipment list for QRG operators - 3XDE - Tabled, to be sent to 3XMU.

6.Call out procedure - 3ML/3XDE - deferred.

7.Proposed purchase of Caravan from VK3KIC - 3XMU - examined. Relatively good condition. $1500 asked. Ballarat possible venue for storage. 3UV possible location for storage of files.

Motion: That David Friend's caravan be purchased - Moved 3FGC, seconded 3XMU. Carried.

8.WICEN arm bands - 3BAF - deferred.

9.WICEN casual emergency worker ID cards - 3XMU - deferred

10.Registration renewal reminder notice from VicRoads for PO6528 - done.

11.Donated Generator - 3HFT - 3XMU satisfactory for battery charging.

12.Training Exercise - 3XMU/3ML - deferred

13.WIA Nationalisation - 3UV/3XMU - 3UV withdrew from discussion due to conflict of interest. 3XMU noted that a good and happy relationship has existed between WIA (Vic Div) and WICEN (Vic) Inc.

14.CoM Esteemed Member Award -

Motion that John Bell be made an Esteemed Member. Moved 3FGC, seconded 3XMU. Carried
